The PMI kind of project

Wednesday, June 6, 2012 0
You should have a PMI kind of large project in your mind preparing for the exam, and this will help you to answer many questions right. So what is considered a large project by PMI?
  • Utilize resources from many countries
  • Have more than 200 people on the team
  • Last longer than one year
  • May encompass a major change to the company's business model
  • Have a value of over 10'000'000 EUR
  • Involve many stakeholders from many functional areas
So to be topical have for example the London Olympics in your mind when you answer the questions. This is a really huge project even by PMI terms.

A vizsgán véletlenszerűen kapott 200 kérdés (amely a projektmenedzsment minden területét felöleli) közül 175 kérdést értékelnek, ebből 106 kérdést kell helyesen megválaszolni ahhoz, hogy a teszt sikeres legyen.

A PMP vizsgara jelentkezes feltetelei

Saturday, March 31, 2012 0
A lenti felsorolast a PMI Budapest Chapter oldalan barki megtalalhatja, de a precizseg kedveert mi is felsoroljuk:

- Felsőfokú végzettségűek esetében:
4.500 óra gyakorlat összesen az öt PM folyamat csoportban (projekt feladatok vezetése), 36 hónap PM gyakorlat az utóbbi hat évben. [Project Folyamat - Process Groups]

A PMP vizsga legutobbi valtozasai

A PMI [Project Management Institute] 2011 augusztus 31-tol valtoztatott a PMP vizsgan. Elozoleg egy ugynevezett Role Delineation Study [RDS]*  felmerest vegeztek, aminek az eredmenyet publikaltak is. A lenyeg a lenyeg, hogy nagyobb hangsulyt kapott a Professional & Social Responsibility terulet, amit igy minden knowledge area-ban tesztelni szandekoztak.

A PMI szerint ez a kerdesek 30%-at erintette. Szereny meglatasunk szerint a Professional & Social Responsibility alapelvek eddig is komoly kihivasok ele allitottak a magyar PM-eket, igy ez csak fokozodott. (ld. Bacso Peter: Tanu c. filmje "A nemzetkozi helyzet fokozodik" )

(V.o. Magyarorszag prominens helyezese a nemzetkozi korrupcios listakon.)

* Kulon felhivnank a figyelmet az ekes megfogalmazasara annak amikor osszevetik a PM-ek valodi munkajat azzal a teszttel (PMP) ami a project management munka tudasat hivatott tesztelni.

Ground Rules for this blog

A rovid valasz: Project Management Professional [PMP] vizsga.
